Distance 7k (1 lap), 14k (2 laps) or 21k (3 laps) // Lap system closes 1.5 hours after the final wave starts.

Warrior Run is a 7k obstacle and mud run. The run is made up of 7k laps containing well over 60 obstacles. The choice of 1, 2 or 2 laps is entirely down to you. Your start time will determine how many laps you can take on.

Minimum Age 17 years unless stated otherwise by a member of the Warrior Run team, please call us on 01273 834403. 16 years of age if accompanied by an adult is now allowed at Warrior Run.

First Aid We will have a full team of paramedics and ambulance on site throughout the day supplied by Event Medic Services. There will also be first aiders around the obstacle course to help with any minor incidents.

Fitness Level This is not going to be a walk in the park so couch potatoes need not apply. However warrior run is also a great fun team event and its amazing how much you can get done with a little help from your friends! You don’t have to be an experienced runner or Gym freak. We recommend you to be in good shape that enjoys outdoor fitness along with a great competitive attitude!

Kit Storage We do not offer any kit storage facility. We will be able to look after your car key so you can store any kit inside your car. Please note that warrior run cannot be held responsible for loss/theft.

Water: Part of Warrior Run involves running through streams. Depending on conditions the water levels can be as high as 7ft. All participants should be able to swim without any assistance.

Race Packs Your race pack will be here for you to collect on the day of the event when you hand in your signed disclaimer & registration form.

Sign On We strongly recommend that you arrive at least 1.5 hours before your registered start time. This will give you plenty of time to sign on and warm up before the event starts. We will not be able to cater for late arrivals. You must have a copy of your email confirmation PRINTED with you, you will not be able to run without this confirmation. This is the email with your individual reference number you received after making your booking (not bib number).

Refreshments Our venue hosts a wide range of hot and cold food and beverages along with a fully licensed bar. Please do not bring a pic-nic as this is not allowed.

Footwear Normal road running trainers are not recommended and could actually make your run a lot harder and possibly dangerous. We suggest that you invest in a pair of trail shoes or purpose made OCR trainers. These are available from as little as £15 from sites such as http://www.startfitness.co.uk/ Please do not wear spikes as this can be a danger to over runners.

Are there ID requirements to enter the event?

We are now required to see photo i.d at registration to confirm the name on the ticket matches with the runner. We do recommend that you only bring a photo copy

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The closest train station is Hassocks then you will need to get a Taxi to us from there. There is very poor public transport in the area especially on a Sunday. Parking is £5 per car however we promote lift sharing where possible and we will reward a car with 4+ people with Free Parking. This includes spectators.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Tickets can be transferred to other Warrior Run events as long as this is confirmed by email with the race directors. Transfers are only available up to 4 weeks before the event.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes absolutely, we allow you to change the details on your ticket up to 9 days before the event, this is Free of Charge.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, you must bring a digital or printed version of your ticket. Without this there is no way of us knowing who you are or if you have registered for the event.

What is the refund policy?

Unfortunately we do not offer any form of refund as with any other sporting event.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?

Absolutely not. The name on the ticket has to match the attendee otherwise you will not be allowed to take part in the Warrior Run event.

Spectators We will have designated viewing areas for anyone you would like to bring along to watch. There will also be activities available to keep them satisfied.

Briefing You must attend a mandatory safety briefing before the start of your run.

Warm Up We will be running an energetic warm up for everybody. This is great fun and gets you in the mood for running as well as preventing muscle and ligament injuries.

Clothing Under Armour and compression gear is the perfect under layer with light weight clothes on top as these dry quickly. Gloves are a good idea but remember to make sure they have a good grip for the climbing obstacles. General everyday gloves will actually make your experience a lot tougher.
